Well, I leave for Hanoi in 12 days - and my Vietnamese visa took three weeks to obtain. First - there was a minor snowstorm. Then -- it was lunar new year. In any event, my daughter Alyssa (who took this photo) is walking the passport over to the Laotian embassy herself - so hopefully I'll get this before I leave!
A description of the trip is available at this URL. I'm doing some spinning to get my legs in shape - and looking forward. Around here, we got rain instead of snow - but the roads remain too messy to ride.
